The first miners exploited the natural cracks of Carrara marble in which a wedge of wood was inserted and watered to cause the detachment of the block by natural dilation.
Nathalie used this traditional know-how to illustrate literally the fracture of the rock and figuratively the one of life.

Materials: Carrara marble hand cut or other marble to be custom-made. Walnut wood.
